about me

I was born in Como, Italy, in 1962, and since an early age I have explored the villages that surround the lake and wandered through the neighboring mountains accompanied by my friends, father, and grandfather.

I adore taking photos of the lake landscape, which I gaze at with an ever deepening and emotional understanding. There is so much more to the scenery than what’s glamourized by the images of the ‘rich and famous’ we see.

I’ve recently become increasingly interested in humanist photography. As a Humanist, I love my fellow human beings. I like to engage with people, listen to their stories, and then share them through the lens of my camera.

My career requires me to travel often, yet it has given me the unique opportunity to get to know diverse and rich cultures other than my own and to experience areas with stories that I hope to share with you.

I am on a personal journey. Not only a physical one, with the shoes that become worn and tattered as I travel with my lens, but also a metaphysical one – you could say it’s an introspective odyssey more than anything. I am constantly searching for different views and perspectives, of different stories to tell, of new things to be learnt – all that challenge me and allow me to grow.

There is no particular purpose or expectation with this website. I only wish to share my adventures and the stories I have unearthed with others.
